The system can run from servers maintained by the practice itself or over servers in a cloud-based data center.  Users of either systems can connect to their solution over the Internet and continue to get full functionality even when they are out of their clinics. In case the clinician is at a location where Internet connectivity is not available, a synch utility is available to synchronize data later.

e-Prescribing features are particularly good. The solution gets detailed medication information from authoritative sources that take care of drug to drug interactions and patient allergies. A large number of pharmacies can be connected to. Pharmacies that are not part of the network can be sent electronic faxes. Patients can get medication instructions in 18 different languages.

Amazing Charts also comes with a large number of inbuilt reports. Additional report formats can be created with ease. Users who require a specific report type can simply send in a request and the report is created at no additional charge.
